Cauliflower Poppers

I have to thank the Canteen at Camp Munk for their popper sauce recipe. I thought of this idea, to adapt it to cauliflower,  during the nine days this past summer while wondering how the boys would possibly manage without their poppers for 9 whole days!!!

Mashed Potatoes with a Flair

Fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, cooked potatoes... It seems as if there are potatoes at every meal over Passover.  Here is a way to add some color to your mashed potatoes, as well as a delicious combination of flavors.

Sefer Torah Franks 'n Blanks

I have been making this kids favorite “Torah Treat” for many years in honor of Shavuot. No matter  how exquisite the other dishes on the table, this has always been a Shavuot (and Simchat Torah of course) highlight for my children. Aside from delicious, they're simple enough for children of all ages to  make (yes… my seven year old daughter made the ones you see!).

Colorful Couscous

This couscous recipe is a real time saver, as it doesn't require the couscous to be cooked beforehand.

Roasted Asparagus with Crumbs

This side dish has always been one of my favorites. It’s a nice change from the standard potato, pasta and rice sides.
